"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets." - Matthew 22:37-40

Consistency and Accountability

For I the LORD do not change…” - Malachi 3:6

Nor should we. We do, but we must strive for consistency, for our testimony relies on it. Many lie in wait, to catch you in your moment of failure; they want to see nothing more than to bring you down by your own actions.

They point to others who claim membership to the church, citing what they have done or said. But remember, while we must hold our brothers and sisters in Christ accountable, in the end, we can truly really only hold ourselves.

Hold yourself accountable in all things you do. In all things you do be the glory of God.
“Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.
- 1 Peter 3:14-16
